Anyone have any real insight on his ability to recruit?

His wiki says he was recruiting coordinator at one stop. Hard to judge him based on Kentucky.

He seems like a great x and o coach and I like that he has coached multiple positions on the defensive side. I just wasn't sure about his recruiting. Obviously, recruiting isn't everything if there are others on staff that can handle it, like Aranda when he was here.

Any insight is appreciated.

I’m only concerned with his ability to teach and develop players. Frank Wilson and NIL will take care of recruiting.

What happens if you don’t know?

Because anything any clown tells you on this board is a copy paste job from someone else’s evaluation.

Sorry but this is simply not true. House doesn't have to be an amazing recruiter but we need more than Wilson and NIL to recruit for us.

I don't think he's been literal about only Frank and NIL, of course others will focus on recruiting

That’s why there’s more than one coach one the team. The top kids are going to go wherever the money takes them. For those that we miss out on, we have to make damn sure we are able to develop the “lesser” prospects. You win, they come. You pay, they come.

Huh? The guy basically didn't answer my question then made a statement that recruiting will all be on NIl deals and Wilson. What was I supposed to infer from his post that I missed?

So you have zero insight on if he can recruit.

Honey Badger thinks he's great. Good enough for me.

I started this thread asking about insight in to his recruiting. I even said it wouldn't be huge deal so long as we get good recruiters on staff. You're making it sound like so long as we have Wilson and NIL recruiting doesn't matter, which is simply not true. How is that being dramatic?

If you have no insight on his recruiting that's fine.

He is a solid B+ recruiter. He is more of a developer. He will bring in recruits with upside, and will get along with the players because of his age and his NFL experience.

Yeah I don't doubt his coaching ability at all, which is what honey badger commented on.

Just curious about his recruiting ability and if he would be a main recruiter or will that fall on the staff he brings in.

Thanks. Sounds like it will be set up like when Aranda was here then. Fine by me. Hopefully he gets some solid recruiters on the defensive side when the rest of the staff gets filled in.

Honey badger is known for some really bad decisions plus he's not exactly a brilliant mind.
