If Gus pulls out a win over Bama, and pulls out another win in the SEC Champs game, he stays at Auburn and basks in the glow of his own demigodness. The sun rising over Tybee Island each morning, trekking westward, just for the chance to shine on the face of Gus. Saint Gustophus The Only.

Emperor of Football.

If Gus loses to Bama, Jimmy Sexton is working all night, that night.

He gone.

Question is, where?

TAMU?

And yes, he would bolt Auburn to come to Arkansas. He'd do it in a heartbeat.

I wouldn't blame him. Our fanbase has not supported him well and dickride him when he wins but if he loses they just lose their shite. I think he could really do well if he were at a school that was behind him and not undermining him with talk of firing him every season.

I don’t think he leaves Auburn this year . I don’t think he could get a better job yet .

I dont see him leaving auburn unless he's fired. I dont see him getting fired this yr so he isnt going anywhere.

I could see him leaving Auburn.

Leave now and you get 2-3 years to get a new program together. Stay and win a lot of games next year or you're finished.

I'd rather jump than be pushed, but that's just me.

Go 8-4 or 7-5 as your floor with an occasional upset and the hogs are happy as a pig in slop.

8-4 consistently gets you fired at AU, UGA, etc. Look at Richt.

Gus and the hogs both would probably be happier.

It is not because he loses, it is because he makes decisions that directly leads to losses. Like not seeing how bad Johnson was, or the two Ganges this year. All of that is his fault

you can't see how bad a guy is when he does everything right until he gets to a game. Look at what has happened to Fisher at FSU and he is a supposed QB guru. he lost his starter and has completely lost everything on offense and the team is awful.

He put the JJ eggs in the basket and it didn't pan out.

LSU flat out outplayed us for 3 quarters. They got the 50/50 calls they needed and made all the plays they needed to. Malzahn didn't lose the game as much as they took it from us.
