Make the case for Billy Gonzales - Can you?

When BG was brought in, LSU did not have committments from Rivers or Mett.
What we had was JJ, Lee as a possibility, maybe someone like Zach lee, and Shep.
Now that we have what we have, why is BG appropriate?
What is his offensive identity?
Seems coming from Florida, it is spread-oriented, which seems dead wrong for Rivers and Mett as QB's?
Why would Les hire BG?
What makes him even on the short list for true consideration as an OC?

No. Don't get me wrong; I like Billy Gonzales. However the program is at a point where any Coordinators brought in should already have experience in their positions. There's no good reason to have anymore "experiments" like the Mallveto fiasco.
