Interestingly, Brown noted, “Texas never scheduled the top-tier SEC teams because under DeLoss Dodds they felt like there may have been an unfair playing field.”
What a beautiful quote.

Here's what I've been thinking. Why don't people take Saban at his word?
I mean 8 years ago he lied.
He said he was sorry and regrets on many occasions.
He has followed up on every promise since then.
It's been 8 damn years.
Even Jesus forgives.
Just a thought.

This shite is better than a meltdown....
It's too bad we will prob never know if Saban would have went to UT if Mack had stepped down earlier in the week, but god, this makes Mack look like a bitch that he COULD have fd UT over

Saban could still be headed to Texas.
Stay tuned.

Stay tuned.

You are in overdrive tonight. Don't strain yourself with all your wishing and hoping.

After he has repeatedly stated he regretted how he left LSU and Miami, I don't think there's anyway he leaves now that he has made an official statement.

Not wishing or hoping. Just wanting to establish the narrative.
Give me one reason that Saban would be eliminated from consideration for the Texas job.
Everything he said last night was BEFORE there was a job opening.
I am just saying it is possible.
50-50, imo.

The dumbass is the one who believes that if an offer of 10/10 mill is made to Saban that he won't listen and think about it.
Now, he will do what he wants. I have no idea. But, my point is that now that the job is open, what happened last night with Saban/Alabama is irrelevant.
He agreed to the extension before there as a job opening.
I am thinking outside the box, which is why I am way ahead of you. Keep up.

This whole ordeal is very entertaining, no matter how it turns out.

Exactly.
People saying that Saban is completely out of it have their heads in the sand.
Very entertaining.

He agreed to a contract before he agreed to an extension.
He has shown how important a contract is to him.
Why would this time be any different?
