Also, let's revisit what Sexton said in January:

"Sexton confirmed that UT is the only job Nick would possibly consider leaving Alabama for, and that his success there created special pressure for him," Hicks wrote.

To what Terry said last month:

"You come to a crossroads and the expectations get so great, people get spoiled by success and there gets to be a lack of appreciation," Terry Saban said in an interview last week. "We're kind of there now."

Her saying she's a realtor and that it's not illegal for Saban's info to be out there on a high income neighborhood. Shaq was looking for a house in a very high income area where she worked and had to submit some shite and that made it public record...meaning it's the same for Saban.

Then said carry on :)

That's kind of the gist of it from what I remember

from mods on hornsports:

Several outlets are reporting that Brown, Powers, Patterson will not be meeting tonight. I wonder if Mack just said need to and we will soon get the official UT announcement?

Regents told Powers to get this taken care of promptly and that his job hinged on making sure Mack resigned, retired or was fired.

The meeting is a cover. They already know what's going to happen. And how it will happen. Mack better follow thru or he will lose a lot of money

Can we talk a second about this whole "Saban needs a challenge" meme? If he really needed a challenge, why go to Texas? Its not like The 'Horns don't have a rich athletic history sitting on top of stacks of money. If he wanted a challenge, why not go to Ball State or Tulane. Take one of those programs to the National Championship if you're looking for a challenge.

It's a destination job where EVERY great coach yearns to coach..

I mean, when the Bear died, they had Tom Landry, Jimmy Johnson, Bill Cowher and Bill Belichick as HCs.

So the announcement was at the banquet, then Saturday, and now sooner?

I'd rather the "challenge" of going all in with AK rather than 23.

It's just a more genteel version of "Money talks and bullshite walks"

The "challenge" is seeing how much extra coin he can squeeze out of somebody after not even winning his division.
