I don't know. I think he could step in for Saban and Bama would keep rolling for a while. No clue how he would do long term or at a new program.

Word that no decision on Mack has been made yet.
It seems that people in Texas are scrambling.
We know that a run was made at Saban. If he had accepted, we would have heard A LOT by now. No way to keep that quiet. If he were thinking about it, we would have heard a lot by now.
There is nothing. Some in Texas are saying that they are hearing that Mack is staying.
The only conclusion is that the deep pockets in Texas made a run at Saban and failed. He had to listen - he would be a fool not to. But, he has decided to reject.
That would be my guess right now.
Of course, they might have given him 48 hours to mull it over and they are on lockdown mode and we are all waiting. Saban might be thinking. It could still go either way.
