He balked at our original offer. We upped the ante significantly in the last 48 hours… and he no longer has any hold ups. He simply has to accept it. The reason Jimbo basically threw a bitch fit in his presser and said he’d be an idiot to go to LSU is because he found out we offered Lincoln $2M more than what we were offering him. He told Scott he’d come for that offer and Scott told him we weren’t interested in him at that price. He got his feelings hurt and took his ball and went home after that.

Because I was told something not completely accurate about the Riley situation at the time and was told about Woodward reaching out to Stoops and that he had moved into the tier of possibilities. Didn’t sit right with me given the situation of this entire search.

Whatever helps you sleep at night. I also said USC was closing in on Aranda and got told that wasn’t true. Then there’s like 5 reports today of them closing in on him as their guy. But hey I’m just clueless and throwing shite
