LSU should hire gus malzahn as the new OC

hear me out. i wanted him as head coach, but miles stayed. but wouldnt it be a sound investment on LSU's part to pay him $1.5M/yr to rent him for a year or 2 and try to cash in on our NC window?
he will not be a head coach next year. auburn loses cam newton and the entire OL, his stock cant get any higher there. if he comes here, turns our offense around, wins another BCS title as an OC after turning around another awful offense, he would def get a big time HC gig somewhere.
its alot of money for a coordinator when the HC is making in the $4M range, but we are clearly set up to win this year and maybe next, go for the best coaches who can put you in position to win. money from NC gear alone would justify it

No sense getting in a bidding war with Auburn. He is more important to AU than Chizik.

i mean i agree, but auburns window is shut. he can sit there and rebuild and never have another opportunity for a BCS title. i think if we matched/ slighty raised the money, he'd jump on it
