LSU replacing President, AD and HC together is a first.

By overhauling all three at once, LSU can:
• Hire a unified team: The incoming president can vet and select a new AD, who in turn can handpick a coach—ensuring everyone shares the same long-term strategy for recruiting, NIL deals, facilities, and NIL collectives. No more mid-stream conflicts or buyout blowups like the $52M Kelly payout.
• Signal stability to recruits and boosters: It shows the Board of Supervisors (now steering the ship via interim AD Verge Ausberry) is serious about “best positioning LSU to achieve its full potential,” potentially stabilizing the roster amid the transfer portal and drawing elite talent who want a clean slate, not a circus.
• Boost marketability: As one of college football’s crown jewels (top-5 job even in chaos), this “three-headed monster” vacancy lets LSU pitch a blank-canvas powerhouse to splashy hires, like pairing a proven AD with a rising coach and a president who unlocks state funding.

I’ll take the President gig. I have the time on my hands.
