If we are really talking scorched Earth here, this needs to be 1970's Oakland Raider style villainy. No mercy. Briles talking to the press and bragging every game about how we dropped half a hundred on 'em. Give players free access to any interview they want to do. Find Luther Campbell. He'll coach 'em up.

Hire Kiffin as OC and Briles as an offensive analyst or QB coach. Then when Kiffin leaves in a year or two to become HC, much like Bama right now with Sark, the media buzz around Briles will be smoothed over and he steps in as full time OC. Brilliant plan O sold them on.

I'm not sure you know how this works. If you want to demoralize Alabama, firing Les Miles to hire your D-Line coach and a guy who covered up multiple gang rapes isn't the way to go about it.
