While I prefer to have a "pro-LSU" governor in office, what do you mean by "putting LSU first"?
LSU is the fifth wealthiest college football program that has a value of $910,927,000. Think about that for a minute. The four other college football programs that are wealthier than ours is OSU, Texas, Oklahoma and Alabama.
Is your problem with the fact Alleva is still our AD?
Because, as for as money, LSU has the resources to meet high standards.

All I can think of what he's referring to is the rumors of how political things got when we tried to fire Miles in 2015. Correct me if I'm wrong, but the way I interpreted the story was Alleva wanted to do it and Jimbo lined up to take the job. Bobby Jindal then contacted F King Alexander and told him not to allow us to pay that buyout, as even though the football program funds itself, the state populace wouldn't understand and would riot if we were spending that much on a buyout while the educational system was in dire straits. I actually don't blame Alleva for what happened in 2015, as in that situation, it was out of his control. The coaching search the following year, yeah that is 100% on Alleva. He didn't need to give up on finding alternative options when Fisher and Herman didn't work out.
I don't know why he is blaming Edwards for anything as he wasn't even in office when all of that happened. He also had nothing to do with Orgeron being hired the following November. But you're absolutely right, our program generates more than enough money to have all the resources it could ever need to be an elite program. What is holding the program back is leadership in the AD and the University as a whole, not the governor's office who doesn't have anything to do with that, that is unless he think Louisiana needs a governor that will put pressure on LSU to rid themselves of F King Alexander. But then again, how would he know a candidate would actually fulfill his promises any more than Ed Orgeron? Louisiana politicians don't exactly have a great track record of being honest

While its your money and you are obviously allowed to spend it as you please, do you really think that donating to politicians is a very wise investment considering the way Louisiana politics works?

Yeah you aren't answering the question at all. One dollar is less than 20k.
How much exactly?
And don't lie because I will know

It's been awhile since we've had a governor who gave shite about LSU.
