Updated with records and years before 1st national championship
Stole this from a thread on SECrant (likely stolen from here)

following the win percentage jump from just coming to LSU means Brian Kelly is never gonna lose here

So we're looking at about a 25% increase in winning %. Boy I hope that holds.

Sorry, but I am going to nerd out here. Read on at your peril.
As you can never exceed a 1.000 win%, I am going to assume these win percentages combine like velocities in special relativity (which can never exceed the speed of light). If one does so, averages out the improvement of the previous 3 coaches, and then applies that gain to Brian Kelly, then his win% would be 0.871.
I can live with that.

This is such mind boggling stat considering all that’s happened to our program since he took over.

OMG that is telling. If 2 of those idiots could bring home a natty, we know we will be there soon.

did you use any formulae to come up with that? I was trying to find a control to the variables earlier in my head.

If you want to add velocities (V1 and V2):
V = (V1+V2)/(1+V1*V2)
And if you want to subtract it's:
V = (V1-V2)/(1-V1*V2)
Welcome to special relativity, where 0.770 - 0.571 = 0.355.

Bump for stats (and some nerdy velocity stuff)

using that logic, why would anyone spend more > $10,000 ?

You registered for an account when O got the job, and you’ve been melting all over this board since O got fired.
We could have hired Nick fricking Saban and you’d still be here acting like a little girl. Just stop.

Scotty, I don't know why you keep saying that. I don't care if LSU wins another game.

You are projecting.
You'll eventually be fired.
