LSU finally gets their turn OUTSIDE THE BARREL

To everyone that says "what a dick move by BK", realize one thing: we're finally on the good side of one of these deals!
We've seen player after player on the LSU roster make a "business decision" to opt out and "prepare" for the NFL draft. Or, worse yet, jump into the portal prematurely to seek greener pastures elsewhere.
I hate it when it happens (and it seems to happen a LOT to us), but I also understand that they're playing by the rules.
Not sure I can be mad at a young man looking to preserve a (nearly) guaranteed multi-million dollar payday by sitting out. Or someone chasing fools gold by jumping into the portal.
And, no, it's not different because it involves a coach instead of a player. Once college football became a multi-million dollar business everyone in the game - coaches, players and staff - became employees. Not saying I like it, but then again I know better than to stand on the shore and yell at the storm coming in from the Gulf.
So, yes, it sucks for ND. But at the same time I'll be happy because we're FINALLY on the good side of one of those transactions that normally hurt our team.
I'll take that and a side of fries any day.

ND has no one to blame but themselves.
Bk pushed to relax the admission rules that eliminates 50-60% of the TOP 100 recruits from playing at ND and they would not budge.
BK pushed for better facilities, specifically an indoor practice facility that is football only and regulation size. It did not happen.
If they changed just the admissions part, he would not be on a plane to LSU later today.
They need to ask themselves some tough questions.

Like many of you, I have been to South Bend and have seen their football facilities up close and personal and for such a storied program, they were pathetic. I cannot imagine what Coach Kelley will be able to achieve at LSU with our facilities, with the quality of LA recruits and with his recruiting contacts in the midwest.........AND with quality coordinators.

Irony is they will probably do all of this for the next guy now that they’ve learned their lesson

So, you're saying we helped improve ND's overall football program by hiring their coach?
That's what I call a "WIN-WIN" situation.
ND fans: You're welcome!
