I have no inside info but to me, seeing multiple OLman returning including Ingram who is a prime candidate for NFLSU (aka leaving early despite being a mid round pick) tells me that James Cregg is here to stay for at least one more year.

If they were going to fire him and hire a new OL coach, I don’t think all these guys would be coming back or they would at least wait for the new coach to be hired before they announced it.

I think this is a reasonable assumption. Hope he can get Hines and Deculus back to 2019 form and get some of these younger guys on track with a real off-season on campus. If not, then he’s got to go.

I honestly don’t see the issue with him... They are improved from when he got here...I think the lack of offensive creativity hurt this year more than anything. We ran the same 5 running plays all year damn near in sequence...The changes in qb(3) is difficult when all three are so different in style and abilities...

I think you’re looking for “reading between the lines” - just busting your balls a bit Bert

Or they could enjoy playing for LSU and want to play football one more year in college... also the deadline to declare for the draft is in a week or so, could get ride of cregg then

Sure they could but I think O has had enough trust issues in his locker room that he wouldn't risk alienating his entire OL by lying to them to get them to come back.

This is possible but I just think it would be hard to convince a guy like Ingram to come back if his position coach wasn't solidly on staff. Same with Shanahan. He obviously isn't an NFL guy at this point but I doubt he'd return to an unknown situation.

Thanks to Burrow and Clyde. Advanced stats had them very average-to-bad. Burrow and Clyde were unreal against pressure.

Not really. Pretty good haul on paper last year, but no bodies this year...so far. And average other years.

He’s extremely average across the board.
