so, you don't think we should reach out to a guy who recruited the eff out of Louisiana when we were way down, and who had a ton of great OL that went on to long successful NFL careers? Oh, the guy also has a history with your school, and stood in your head coaches wedding alongside your current OC.

It isn't like I'm suggesting we go hire Stephen Peterman when he retires. The guy I'm suggesting is a proven college recruiter in our home state. He locked down the state prior to Saban or Miles getting here. And, he's a proven OL coach with a good track record?

BTW, I know that we've reached out to a longtime NFL Offensive Line coach who's head coach has been fired. If he doesn't land an NFL job, we could see a guy with a ton of NFL OL experience, plus some college OL experience, being considered as LSU's next OL coach.

Gerry still believes he should be the HC here and is a tad bitter. Dude isn't coming back as a position coach

I just did some research, and the only guy I could come up with that came close to matching this description is Foerster from the Skins. Don't really know anything about him but I'd trust Cam and Les to make a good hire.

I doubt that he's making close to what Stud is making to be an analyst on the Big Ten Network. Plus, he'd be working alongside his friends. I think it'd be worth a shot.

It's a much better idea than going after former LSU players who've

1. Never coached a day in their life.
2. Never recruited a day in their life.
