Apparently it was Craig James son. If so he is toast.

The PR nightmare just got worse. ESPN is going to circle the wagons.

This is just another orchestrated stunt to take the focus away from the greatness that is Alabama football!!!

He has a law degree from Pepperdine and a Masters from the US Sports Academy in coaching.

Now teachers get "school law" as part of the curriculum. Maybe there should be "sports law."

He is also one of four coaches not to have played college football.

Thank you, sir

Considering his JD, if he indeed locked a kid up for six hours, he's crazier than everyone thought.

He is damaged goods more so than Hal Mumme, if true.

Ironic he would end up compared to Mumme like that, but I disagree. Mumme's program was totally out of control and involved recruiting violations. It would be much easier for a program to monitor Leach's behavior and this seems to be an isolated incident.

Leach also has less other baggage than Mumme and better credentials.

If he really did all that he might be looking at the inside of a jail cell.

It's not a joke. He is already guilty in lots of peoples eyes and the damage is done. At a minimum he will likely lose his job at Texas Tech.

Programs don't suspend their HC because of rumors. He's guilty of something.

just so I'm caught up; Mike Leach locked Craig James' kid in an electrical closet for 3 hours right?

I'm thinking TT will make a huge fricking deal over this b/c of how Leach bent them over last year over the contract. Seriously; it was just three hours and depending on the size of the closet potentially not that bigga deal.

The loss of Mike Leach soundbites from college football outweighs any potential innocence Craig James' kid lost in that electrical closet IMO.
