I'm firmly convinced that I'm over this saga. Make your mind up Nick.

Here is a Cam Rob quote. He is an intelligent young man who executes good decision making particularly when making decisions about his future education:

quote:

Cameron D. Robinson ?@crobinson_68 1m When people hit me with that "Your coach is going to Texas" I just look at them laugh & say "No, you just want him to go to Texas"

Shouldn't this thread title be "LF's coach thinks Saban is staying"?

If Saban truly is staying, why not sign the new contract at Alabama? Secondly, I'm sure Sexton told Saban to say that and the recruits telling the media that is getting a larger check from Texas.

Where are all these rumors about Saban leaving Bama for a job that isn't open coming from?
Saban's agent says he'd consider leaving for Texas, in order to milk more money out of Alabama. Terry speaks to the WSJ about not feeling appreciated. Texas is very likely an open job soon. Agents don't get to stay on speaking out of turn. Terry Saban isn't stupid.

He's not going anywhere, but he is going to get a few million more a year out of the situation.

Why would he think about Texas when the job isn't open?

Times like these remind us all how little coaches care about fans or schools. No one should take it personally. Nick Saban, Les Miles, etc. don't feel any differently about their respective employers and fans than they would if they were anywhere else.
