Based on Scott Woodward's past hires for several sports here's my opinion. Feel free to downvote away.

Tucker-obviously having a stellar season but limited body of work makes him a no go.

Kiffin-he seems to be emotionally erratic. His sideline antics, play calling, he's on Twitter alot, etc. He's not Woodward's style.

Napier-he may be a great coach but just don't see hiring a ULL guy.

Aranda-I really like this guy but pretty much the same reason as Tucker.

Bob Stoops-not sure his heart is in the rigors of being a major program head coach.

Chris Peterson-same as Stoops.

Hugh Freeze-I would hire this guy but SW won't because of the melt down that would occur with the liberals.

This would narrow it down to Riley, Jimbo, James Franklin, Cristobal and Fickell. I'm not saying I would be happy with all of these guys, just pointing out who would seem to be the best bets to be the new coach.

It’s won’t be anyone that follows “someone I trust told me it’s”

Out of those Jimbo seems the most likely. Not necessarily the best choice, but the most likely.

I don’t know shite but I think Fickells name barely being mentioned recently means something. I think Fickell could be a dark horse for the job.

I agree on Aranda and Tucker for the reasons you gave.

Napier does have a good body of work to judge him by, but just doesn't seem to be the Woodard type of hire. I would keep him in the mix but others would have to say no first.

I don't see Franklin in the mix at all right now.

I hope not. I would be okay with any of the remaining four.

This crap is so old. Yeah, it has nothing to do with the fact that Ole Miss had to forfeit 30+
Games because of recruiting violations that happened under his watch, or the fact that four years earlier he issued a “come at me tweet” about those violations, or that he used his work phone and accidentally dialed up hookers 30 times….

Folks like you have been conditioned to slobber at the bell so much that you try to make everything about liberal/conservative or Republican/Democrat. Keep that BS on the poli board.

It will be Mel Tucker. He’s superior.

Not totally off. I would still keep Stoops as a possibility but I don’t totally negate your point. Does he still have that fire he once had? We really don’t know but I expect Woodward knows.

I'm wanting it to be Rhule. But trying to get Watson to the Panthers means he is trying to do something to turn it around for the future. So his head is still in the NFL game it appears.
