Per mcmurphy. Kiffin gets first interview. Houston not scared of briles. Congrats to les for landing an interview!

There is no way Kiffin or Briles interview better than Miles.

Miles is not what Houston is looking for. They are used to actually playing offensive football. Miles is a 2nd tier.

That is brave to take on Briles.

Everything has not been disclosed yet, has it?

If it comes out with certainty he was complicit in what happened at Baylor...

I do not think I could support the school if I were an alumnus at that point.

Houston said they're looking for a guy to stay long term. Kiffin is not that guy

Not only that but he already spurned UH, and it was for an in-state program that, at the time, was actually in a worse spot than UH both then and historically despite being in a better conference.

I would also think it might piss Baylor off.

And if you are trying to get in a conference that might not be a good thing.

But honestly, I do not know if Houston has a shot in that regard anyway.

Have there been any rumblings about the Big 12 expanding?

Ah thanks!

I do not really watch the Big 12--- I like to at least see defense from one team on the field.

Did getting a conference game championship waiver kill thoughts of expansion?

I would rather LSU have Briles than Kiffin as OC for LSU.

Everything is out in the open on Briles.

Les would be cheap, we will subsidize his salary for many years. And Les would meet his contract requirements by landing a coaching job.

I could see hiring him as an OC, if something is not out in the open, and it comes out, he is still not the face of your program.

And OC is good rehabilitation spot.

But as an HC? I just do not think that would be worth the risk.

Good for Houston for not being a bunch of pearl clutchers. Some on this board think their program will go to hell for even suggesting this.

Unless they want to hear an actual answer with a clear point. Then Les is fricked.
