not sure about the ghost town, but easy access to the games on a Saturday night for 'financially challenged' fans was part of the allure. Those days are probably over. That is what will kill a fanbase....a monoculture of fans.
Next year kind of 'up the ante' now, as Miles is on simmer....not boil, just simmer...but another Ole Miss brainfart will make sparks fly.

If true, we're screwed. I say if it's another 9-4 or 8-5, he's gone after this coming year. If he manages to win the West, perhaps he'll get another.

I really don't know why anyone is surprised by this. I'm certainly not surprised. Too much money involved.

I could see this happening at LSU and it makes me sick.
Either the LSU administration would not let Les fire crowton or he wanted to keep him. Either way one more year is enough to see which way its definitively headed.

that's actually good for the program. miles anyway. once again, he's proven he can get it down. the young guys we have right now are very talented and as soon as our qb and or OL gets it together we're gonna be good again.
