Briles didn't want to leave Texas. My source: his family. Baylor will pay what it takes to keep him here in Waco. And that stadium is being built right now. Baylor asked for and received very strong commitment from Briles during the planning of the stadium.

The Baylor staff believe that they are finally getting to the point that their defense should improve. And yes, I know many members of the Baylor staff. See the job they did on KState and UCLA. It has been a very slow rebuilding job for Briles.

I'm not sure if this was a troll job or not, but Briles was never a serious candidate for any of our SEC jobs; he isn't leaving Baylor anytime soon by HIS choice.

Sometimes the idiocy on this board is simply amazing.

No offense to you but I can't stand those types of fans. They have absolutely no clue how the coaching search tends to go and just assume we can throw money at that coach from little ole Boise St and he will immediately come running to Arkansas. Trying to talk about a coaching search to those types of people is so extremely aggravating.
