Not much here
quote:

LSU coach Les Miles fended several questions about his future, namely whether he will soon trade purple and gold for maize and blue. Miles' alma mater, the University of Michigan, sought and received permission this week to talk with Miles about its head coaching vacancy after tomorrow's game.

"No," Miles said, when asked if a meeting had already been arranged.

"You're talking about a scenario that I'm not entertaining," he said, when asked if he might leave before the Sugar Bowl, should the Tigers beat Tennessee. "That would be cheating my team."

"I've probably spent 15 minutes on personal time," he said, when asked how much the buzz about Michigan might have distracted him this week.

How stupid does he think people are? No man could be in his situation and spend only 15 minutes thinking about it. It would be irrational to do so.

I don't think he thinks people are stupid but he's not going to say anything more than he did like that publicly.

I also heard he was having margaritas with Lombardi at Zippy's and eating Ribs at T.J.'s with Dale Brown, not to mention he was picking out a house. Crap he had a busy day in BR yesterday.

I understand why and kind of respect him for it, but Miles is lying like Skip on this one. He or his agent has obviously been contacted.

Not really, I am not eager for Miles to leave. I want him to stay. He said he wouldn't do anything to hurt the team a while back, and this he says would be "cheating the team."

One way to take it: it would be cheating the team to take the job and leave before the bowl game.

Another way to take it: it would be cheating the team not to resolve this crap before the bowl game.

Another way to take it: it would be cheating the team to even remotely answer the question in the first place.

Please elaborate.
