I mean you're right about public schools but the charter school system isn't bad at all.
TX has us beat in every way plus no state income tax. GA too. But those aren't opening any time soon.
I don't consider Tuscaloosa northern AL and it's far from beautiful. I swear our fanbase is so self hating. I'm not trying to be disagreeable, and granted I'm a little biased having spent a lot of time there and LSU, I just would never call Tuscaloosa or Birmingham beautiful in a million years.

Crazy that when Miles was fired, the two top names on Allevas list were Herman and O. One made it only 4 yrs, the other made it 5 yrs.
