So Chris Petersen and Dan Hawkins were both great at Boise State, and since Hawkins was a disaster at Colorado, Petersen had to have failed at another PAC 12 school, right?

Oh wait, that's right, he has UW on the verge of a conference title and playoff birth.

He has had Houston in the top 10 and kicked a top 5 team's arse and another highly ranked team's arse in OU. Navy is 8-2 and is a tough team to defend. SMU is their only bad loss. They are Houston though, not some powerhouse we expect to win every game. And no coach is perfect, but he has shown that he can game plan against and beat teams with much better talent.
