Not according to reports I read in the local (Spartanburg, SC) paper...Here's the quote: "However, he (Koenning) clashed with Swinney on defensive philosophy after Swinney replaced head coach Tommy Bowden in mid-October. Koenning favors a zone defense approach, while Swinney wanted the defense to be more aggressive and take more chances."
