I actually wouldn't have a problem with Spurrier coming to LSU if he is willing to groom our next head coach...say...Will Muschamp. I think that would be a pretty sweet situation. Spurrier gives it one more good run at a place where he can win...and then after 5,6,7 years hands the keys over.

That's what I'm saying.
I wonder if Spurrier would bring his current DC or if he would make a run at Will. And if so, would Will come along?

Doesn't Muschamp play a good bit of zone himself?
Saban was the corners on and island bring the house guy.
Rigt?????

If Spurrier comes you may get Bill Oliver as DC. They are very close friends.
Also, remember that we heard SOS was coming to BAMA and it was a done deal. he know how to milk the system for more money.

How can Spurrier milk USCe for more money with his win loss record?

If spurrier brings Bill Oliver over our defense will be shite, again.
We need a good defensive coord. who can shut down a spread option offense. (see will muschamp)

If you look at Spurrier the last 6 or 7 years he hasnt been winning. This has to eat at him and I think he would come to LSU motivated. His legacy is losing its luster.

I know he shut down Tebow AND McFadden. I know I wish he'd never left LSU. I like Bo, but Will just has IT. He is a players coach from the word GO and has more fire and intensity than any coach I can think of. I love seeing him get pumped up and shove a 300 lb. DT to the ground!

With how this board has talked about Miles. (Not all but many.) I would leave too if I were Miles. We are turning into Alabama. Soon, our reputation will become known to all coaches we do not give coaches a fair chance and just like Bama every coach is going to turn us down. Sure LSU is a great school, but not so good it is worth taking as much crap as our fan base has clearly demonstrated on this board. This three years and out has hurt both the Nebraska program and Notre Dame. If we want a chance at a dynasty it only works when you get a coach who becomes the face of your program. Somebody players know will be there long after they graduate. Having a coach that gave us 10 wins each season in his first three years may have been our chance of building a dynasty. Again our fans got impatient and we may be losing another coach. We have nobody else to blame but ourselves if we lose Miles and snag a lesser coach. I also find it funny names of replacements are being dropped of coaches that are so old they may not even make it three years. Best of luck to Miles if he leaves, I definately enjoyed his time here.

It is not about if he we want him to leave. It is a fact that is his home. He met his wife there, he studied football there.
