You have to because of the enormous recruiting implications

That is what he wants. Ole Miss is forcing his hand to not allow it. So if he wants to finish coaching out this season, Ole Miss will make him stay where he doesn't want to be.

The cycle will repeat again next year

Regardless, Ole Miss fans will always know he really would rather be at LSU

I don’t see him leaving early. I can’t see a world where an announcement to go anywhere would happen until his season is over. If he wants to make a run with ole Miss this season, announcing he is leaving with games to be played would only hurt his team. I think no announcement will be made by him until the season is over. If he is staying he would dispel rumors to lessen the distraction of this current playoff run. Which means this board is going to be busy for a while if he is picking another school.

Now, this sounds like the truth!

Well, if anyone on this board says they are 100% sure about what coaches and administrators are thinking they are full of crap. I know that I see Dillingham at press conferences asking local businesses for help and if his QB is leaving I'm sure it's not because the food is bad, he wants more money. Just MY opinion.

That win would lock up a spot in the CFP. He's not leaving his team just before the CFP

Would be a shite move. Finally in the CFP, but going to bolt and leave the team high and dry in their biggest moment.

Hell…that’s probably exactly what’s going to happen considering the shite state of college football these days.

He wants to coach in the playoffs this year. Its that simple, otherwise he would have already made his move or signed an extension. This is a three way game of patience at this point. One of the three might blink, leaving only two. The decision might get made for him. Regardless, there is no bad outcome for LK.
