I know you guys won't love this but I could see Lance Guidry getting it. I pray he doesn't but you never know. I say spend some money and try to get Shiel from Texas Tech. We need consistency if Baker leaves. That means a 4-2-5 guy that loves pressure and man coverage. As enticing as an odd front would be, I'd hate to start recruiting for a new system.

My friend who is very close to the program said Baker agreed to new contract and raise, but Tulane is "sharpening their pencils" to still try and lure him away. He was careful not to tell me he signed with LSU, just "agreed to".
He has told us stuff about other assistant coaches and recruits in the past that were almost always correct, so I choose to believe him

He is also a guy that never gives out info on big shite like head coaching searches.

I started a thread about him earlier and got down voted immediately. These coaches hire from their tree and he is the closest branch to the ground and I'm sure very familiar with what they were doing.

Pruitt isn't realistically available until 2029. Us Bama fans have been pining for him for years now.
He was cleared for an analyst role only and only at Jacksonville State and can't have any on-field activity.
Strange considering that everything he went down for is not only legal, but endorsed.
