Eh, allegedly. Some players stuck up for him at the time, and some others didn't, but wouldn't publicly divulge any details.
That said, you'd think Tulsa could find someone 20-30 years younger who would be happy to take the job. It's not like Wilson was crushing it at IU when he resigned. Maybe Bob Stoops put in a good word for him.

Wilson was the long time OC at Oklahoma. Now, I know Mississippi State isn't a bastion of football glory, but I remember this dude picking Indiana over us because he said Indiana had a better chance to win. What a tard. We ended up hiring Mullen who goes 69-46 and has 7 winning records, and he goes to Indiana goes 26-47 and gets fired, and never has a winning record. Glad that guy's an idiot.
