we should wait to see who bobby stoops goes after, then outbid them
OU always has a dynamic offense. old OC moves on? next guy up, bus keeps rolling downhill. considering stoops is a defensive guy, gotta give him a ton of credit for always nailing his OC hire.

hmmmm seems like he could have waited on a better job than Indiana.

I am about 90% sure Stoops will promote from within but there is a small chance that Leach/Mangino make a comeback. It looks like Wilson will take also take OU's o-line coach Patton with him so there may be 2 openings on the staff and I would jizz if Leach comes back as OC and Mangino as the O-line/ co-OC.

And literally (and sadly) Terry Hoeppner.
RIP Hoeppner.

He was rumored to have been considered for a few jobs over the last couple of years. I don't think the big offers were coming.

I'd bet Stoops promotes from within.
Wilson was actually Co-OC with Jay Norvell. But Wilson called the plays.
I'd bet he turns play calling over to Norvell and promotes Heupel, then brings in a new OL coach.

We looked at him, it came down to him and Mullen pretty sure. Indiana is a dogshit job though.

Some notable names who have been head coach at Indiana:
Cam Cameron (Former Miami Dolphin head coach and Baltimore Ravens offensive coordinator)
Lee Carso was there for almost nine years.
Sam Wyche coached at Indiana before going to the Bengals and lossing a Super Bowl to the 49ers.
Some guy named DiNardo.
This may be why no one does well in Indiana though:

Kris Dielman (San Diego Chargers)
Tracy Porter (New Orleans Saints)
Antwaan Randle El (Pittsburgh Steelers)
Courtney Roby (New Orleans Saints)
Rodger Saffold (St. Louis Rams)
