I agree but some people will find a reason to be upset if LSU were to hire a future hall of fame NFL OL to be our coach.

Is 0 experience developing and recruiting college kids not a good enough reason?

People on this site vastly overestimate him IMO. He has never struck me as someone who would make a good coach

I loved watching Mawae when he was with the Titans. Hall of fame level player.

Wiki shows that he spend a year with the bears as an assistant line coach recently. God I miss him thinking about it now.

wouldn’t be worried about him coaching, seems passionate about it.

with as much as he’s got in the bank, is he really going to want to hit the recruiting trail hard?

He was on the radio yesterday with T-Bob and Jordy and said that his name is out there and he's actively looking for a job.

How convenient? The prince probably called his ole boy culotta to bring Mawae on the radio to start lobbying the public. Worked for O

Do you know Kevin?

I do. He’d do well. Hey say you can’t teach speed, but you can’t really teach passion either. The young men would run through a wall for him wherever he goes.

That said, Cregg is a strong strong hire.

He’s one of the best to ever play the game at his position. But what does his coaching resume look like? I’ve not followed his coaching career.

I go to Church with guy. He is a great guy and a knows how to coach. His only knock is experience in recruting.

If he gets his gold jacket, that is a pretty good recruiting tool.

1 year with Bears and let go. Not currently employed as a coach.

The bears changed coaching staff. Also, he was one of the leader for the player’s union in the last negotiation. He is not well liked by some owners.
