Alright, im going to say it. Do we just want to hire the first black headcoach in the history of LSU for the sake of making history

The safest, most conservative, optically great, HC we could have selected, just failed. And we made history by having a governor speak about his contract. Whatever coach we choose, should undoubtedly shake the table at least and be different then what we thought worked. Bc it hasn’t.

The same could be said about Brian Hartline. People are dropping his name over and over but he’s unproven and inexperienced.

This is worse than all the Eric Morris stuff. We don't need a HC with zero Major Conference experience. If Sheppard wants to come back to be DC, IF ASKED, I wouldn't have a problem with that, but he may decide to stay put.
