Kelly hiring House is similar to Orgeron hiring Canada

Obviously not good fits in either instance, but both coordinators had success before they were hired, and Canada had success after he was fired. House could have future success…or I guess he could fade into oblivion if he continues to produce his 2023 product.

Not really the same. Orgeron apparently didn't know what Canada's offense was and made him stop doing the shifts early in the season, then fired him after the season.
House was ok in year one and then the wheels came off. Kelley knew what he was getting and let him coach, it just didn't work out.

Add in O hiring Pelini the 2nd time. At least Canada had just won assistant of the year on offense. House and Pelini were overpaid when they didnt have to be. Neither was top 50 as DC when they were hired to be DC at LSU so why pay them top 5 DC money in the country?

O made that hire based off TD and popular opinion. The idiot said he’d open the offense and passing game up and followed that up with hiring Canada, who primarily runs the ball. That’s when it was confirmed that he was an idiot. O being the HC was almost equivalent to TD running the show. TD fans knew to keep Aranda and just find someone to open the offense up so O threw shite at the wall until he got it right. Once Aranda, Burrow and all the good coaches left after 2019, he was lost, but didn’t care bc he had a ring.
