But then you have the Pandora’s Box of everything Kiffin knows from his time there. If he has any tampering dirt on Judge, Garrison, Golding or the defensive staff, does Carter really think that won’t come out, as well?

This is similar to the shite with Kelly and firing with cause. A lot of fans wanted to see it happen at the time because they wanted some revenge on Kelly for the way he handed this job after what he was paid. But in the end- it makes no sense to get into bullshite like this in reality. The discovery would have been a nightmare for both sides.

Teams don’t make tampering claims to the NCAA when they have proof for the same reasons. There’s a lot of potential for blow-back if you’re ever done it before yourselves.
