This will be the most important hire of Scott Woodward’s career. Moscona reporting that Tate will require an African American coach is a dangerous move. You can’t narrow down this search mid season with only two viable options of Franklin and Tucker. You just threw out every ounce of leverage you had.

I dont think theyre handcuffing woodward like that. That would be ridiculous. Moscona is a fool. If that were true and i was woodward, i woukd fricking threaten to resign.

Unfortunately politics is in everything and won't be taken out of anything anytime soon if ever.
Plus it's Louisiana, its what we are known for, slimy politicians meddling in everything because they believe they are that important

If Tate has half a brain he stays out of this process. Edwards isn't Governor for much longer, and certain members of the BoS are gone with a new Governor and term time-outs. Tate could easily find himself on the street with a new Governor.

There is way too much money and politics in LSU sports especially football. Tate better stay clear of that mess. That is if he wants to remain there employed.

Politics is slimy everywhere not just in Louisiana. Chicago, Baltimore, Washington DC, New York, Detroit, Seattle, Los Angles, etc etc etc

I said this in another thread but, we have 4 black coaches on staff, probably 85% of our team is black, our president is black. Whites are by far outnumbered in this organization. It's like he won't be happy until it's entirely black.
I don't care what color he is as long as he's the most qualified. I just don't think Tucker is.

I feel quite confident that Woodward has FAR more influence and support(BOS, legislative) than Tate does just after a few months.
