I haven’t watched VT at all this year, until tonight. He’s on what, year 3? And they’re 4-6, playing in the ACC? Not to mention, they weren’t even attempting to get into FG range there. WTF were they doing??? He was a really hot name a couple years back. I would’ve taken him at LSU before, now I’m not so sure...

QB got hurt + the defense is strangely terrible this year. I don't know if thats due to injuries or if Bud Foster has simply lost it.

Like Bobby Petrino he was a big name last year . Now Bobby got fired and nobody will be interested in Fuentes and his buyout this year . These up and coming coaches have to move up in 3-5 years . Fuentes and Campbell May have ruined their careers with such large buyouts.

Injuries are no excuse. That's what I've heard on the rant.

They both are set financially for the next couple of generations.

If it falls apart they can get 1 MM a year as coordinators.

if we're talking money you're right. this is football. they're in the club and will get big salaries until they're 70 if they want

if we're talking about moving up, then it's different

rumor is there is bad blood between Fuente and Foster. If that is the case Fuente will not be there very long. Bud Foster is worshiped at VT. No way Fuente wins a pissing contest against Foster.

Yep

I’ve read Beamer still has a lot of sway and Foster was forced on Fuente. Bad situation.

If they went to a bigger school they would make more money and be more likely to get another head coaching job after they are fired . I would prefer to try and win a championship and most likely make more money .
