It honestly worries me. I am not sure his Rah Rah style works long term. Coach O is the guy you want as your crazy uncle...

...but maybe not as your daddy.

No. (Provided Wiscy wins the Big 10). I hope CEO wins the whole thing but I find it unlikely. CEO would have to get us to the playoffs and win at least one play off game for LSU to give him a chance to show he can develop QBs. I think as long as he does the above, he deserves a chance of the offseason to do so. He loves LSU and if he is willing to take a short terms conditional contract, LSU could move on with him at least one more year.

So, you are saying that people can't fail, evaluate themselves and improve themselves over the next 10 years. Yes, his record from 10 years earlier would be irrelevant if he went 6-0 in the SEC regular season and 7-0 counting the championship game. 6 of those wins would be against ranked teams.

I'm sure he has improved. But he hasn't shown us anything. O just don't think winning 7 games this season is enough to overlook his record at ole miss. When he was in full control for several years. It's a huge risk.

LSU shouldn't be in a position to hire a huge risk. We're better than that.

I want someone that other schools are trying to get. No one is trying to steal O as HC.

That's all I'm saying.

I understand what you are saying, but did you listen to his press conference Monday and what he said. I don't think we win out, but if he does, that PROVES he can turn a team around and win AT LSU.

While O's record was bad at Ole Miss, his talent evaluation and recruiting was exceptional.

Well than that is even more damning to me. We just fired a guy that could recruit and evaluate with the best of them, besides qb.

We would be settling with O. Bigly
