Don't think so, but sometime in his life he may. Many coaches will interview, just to get experience.
Thats way they will never hear, "He didn't interview well."
One friend interview for a HC position knowing full well he wouldn't take the job. Oh, by the way, word was out that they didn't want to hire him.

Its sounds better if they didn't ant to hire you. Doesn't sound good if you say, "I don't want the job."

Oh, this coach, is now a HC.

Yea, I know Joe Rob. The interview was close to BTR. I think Joes base salary was more than Bustles base.

Our tailgate is literally right next to the Coach's wives ... we've gotten to be friends with Abby, Joe Rob's wife. She really seems to like it here and said after the Bama game "yeah! we'll be here next year!!!".

She's VERY nice and funny as hell. Example: She went on a recruiting trip with her husband ... the kid was considering UTenn. She told the kid "man, who looks good in orange except for a convict?" I am NOT lying either!!!

She really is great and he's kicked butt with special teams.

Joe Rob is not finished here at LSU. Special teams have done well under him. The guy can and will find a weakness. Next year hes gonna get Wing to do a few things.

If evaluating LSU's special teams is evaluating Joe Rob as a coach, then he may darn well be the BEST coach on the LSU staff. There was the one glitch by young players in the Florida game, but everything els was lights out. It does help to have PP7 returning kicks and Jasper kicking and pooch punting.

Give Joe Rob a raise is what I say.
