Dude can recruit equal to or better than Miles. He can coach qbs and offense. If he could keep Aranda or bring in a big time DC, slam dunk best case scenario. On top of that, he knows Louisiana and the SEC and has been in meeting rooms with lord saban. He has run a major program and raised it back up following a goofy figurehead coach.

He's easily our best choice. Anyone who disagrees is blind.

I've been a Jimbo lean for quite sometime, but as I said on the rant, he's far from a slam dunk. He's the best option that prevents us from taking a step back. I think he also potentially can come in and keep most of the staff intact, namely Aranda, Raymond and O.

Who is a slam dunk in your opinion?

No one. That was a point I made on the rant. Most of the options have pros, cons and question marks. Jimbo is by far the safest most logical choice though.

Florida St. does not pay their assistant coaches at a competitive rate.

You let Jimbo has a highly paid quality staff then hes a very good hire.

if this is accurate, FSUs DC and OC (and OL coach) make 583,000. Fisher makes 5.25.

thats 6.4M for HC, DC, and OC.

we were at 7.1M for miles (4.3), cameron (1.5) and Aranda (1.3)

if we have to go to 6 or even 7 to get Fisher, plus his 3M buyout, Im not sure how much we really have left for coordinators either.
