Relax.

LSU is a top-5 job. If Jimbo and Herman are out, you might be surprised at who contacts Alleva now that the rubber is starting to hit the road.

I'm worried that Aleva had already made up his mind on O before today and we will be stuck with him

All it takes is some random person posting something about the coaching search, and people eat the shite right up.

I'm so tired of reading shite like this. You realize USC was open last year and hired Clay Helton? You realize TEXAS was open a few years ago and had to hire Charlie Strong?

LSU isn't just going to hire a great coach because its LSU. This could set our program back 5-10 years if you hire an idiot.

LSU won't be a top 5 job after they whiff on Jimbo and Herman

Why does everyone think this clown on the rant is credible? Am I missing something? If so, please fill me in.

It's great. When people with a history of credible info post, the morons come out of the shadows to claim they are full of shite. However, someone with zero credibility gets all the confidence in the world.

Nah, but there are probably some NFL coordinators who might want a shot at a major college HC gig.

There's also coaches like Bob Stoops -- maybe he'd want a change of scenery? Very few places better than LSU for a coach of his stature.

Don't worry about the names: we don't yet know who'll be interested. Saban was off radar for Alabama for a while in their coaching search.

Meh....

If my memory serves, UT went all in for Saban and he told them to get bent.

They may have reached out to Peterson but there was no way he was coming that far south.

Strong was a very good hire at the time.

Herman and Jimbo are the best of the rest under Meyer/Saban.

LSU has had all year to find "the guy"

If they frick this up, then it is on the powers that be.
