Not in the same year and that was a very long time ago. I think Saban got the message over to his team.

Jimbo went 12-2 with a BCS bowl win the year before Winston even startes playing and he stole Winston out of Bama from Saban so he deserves all the credit for that. His backup QB to Winston won an NC with Bama last year. He knows how to develop QBs and offense. Chizik just rode a gorilla on skates to an NC.
