4) X's and O's - yall's biggest complaint about Les and O were lack of technical knowledge in play-calling... Jimbo has no shortage of knowledge in that aspect, and is a METICULOUS play-caller.

Yeah, let’s hire the guy who’s offense is stuck in 2007 and refuses to change it, even after watching the poster child program for pro-style power running modernize and instantly win a title, for $10 mil per year. Sounds like a recipe to not win the West for a decade. Awesome idea.

Bama success has blinded you with revisionist history. Aside from the championship, Saban was not completely revered here.

Saban had two 10 win seasons at LSU. Miles had 4 10 win seasons in a row. Saban at LSU was nothing like Saban at Bama.

Posts like this are why I come here -- the pure comedy.

Jimbo is Miles 2.0. He has completely underwhelmed at A&M despite being given every resource (before the Bama game, even ags were done with him), and he left FSU in absolute shambles. Speaking of his time at FSU, he had a dizzying talent advantage in that conference and still had inexplicable losses to unranked teams like BC, NC State, and I think VA IIRC.

If we've paid out $17M to get Jimbo then we deserve to be the laughing stock of the college football world.

I hope LSU gives Jimbo a call if it means A&M has to further contract frick themselves. Jimbo will never sniff a national championship again.
