But, wait Washington has better facilities

This can't be. Mora has his bags packed and is dying to get to Seattle

A bit surprised at this. UCLA must have really stepped up.

I told you guys yesterday he ain't going anywhere.
Despite their hiccups this year, he is in the weak southern division and he has UCLA primed to make a lot of noise for a long time to come. USC's weak hire, shitty Utah, Arizona and Colorado teams. Really his only concern is ASU and this year's sun devils were a mirage. No way he trades that for a middling north team who has to face off with Oregon, Stanford and a rising Wazzu.

I was going to say the same thing
He just really likes it in UCLA and truly believes that he can build that program into a powerhouse.

Pretty safe to say he got a good raise and Mora would now only leave for an NFL job or maybe a Texas level job.

It's amazing to me that people think highly successful type A head coach personalities are looking for the path of least resistance. The easy way out. It's so far off from their actual mentality. If he's like 99% of all other college/NFL head coaches, his actual mentality is much closer to: "My dick is enormous. I can win anywhere."

Looks like he is getting a 6 year extension

I am hearing he is becoming the highest paid state employee in California. $3.5M per year plus a bunch of extra cash for his asst.coaches

And there is your actual reason

That's the biggest thing. The money for assistants is something dan has never ponied up. Thank god he did now

USC, Pat Haden, and Sark deserve the thanks.

Indirectly they do. The UW coaching search directly resulted in Mora getting a raise + extension and his assistants getting raises.
