Sounds like Ryan Day managed him pretty closely after the Oregon loss.
Which apparently he didn’t like. Even though the defense started playing a ton better.
Also, not in alignment w what DL Larry Johnson wants to do. Knowles likes the “cage” rush where DE’s keep contain.
Johnson likes to let his pass rushers loose.
This seems best for all parties.
