The Dolphins are a joke. Fisher wanted final say on personnel matters and I guess Ross wouldn't give it to him. Instead he is keeping the GM who 10x as many people wanted to be fired as they did Sparano.

I doubt it. The other names I've seen mentioned are the Bengals DC Mike Zimmer and Green Bay OC Joe Philbin. Hopefully in 3 years when we do this again Bill Cowher will be ready to get back into coaching and the owner will give him a GM of his liking.

Miami went 6-10 in 2011 and fired coach Tony Sparano on Dec. 13. Former Tennessee Titans coach Jeff Fisher is believed to be Miami's first choice. But he's also being courted by the St. Louis Rams. Reports indicate Fisher will make a decision by this weekend.
Should he select the Rams, Kelly could be in play for the Miami job.

good hire by the rams. It's being reported that he's taking Greg Williams with him as well
