Jeff Brohm (from Wiki)
"After one season as offensive coordinator for the Hilltoppers, Jeff Brohm was promoted to the program's head football coach, replacing Petrino.
"In his first season, WKU went 8–4. Highlights of the season include defeating #24 Marshall in Huntington 67–66 and winning the Popeyes Bahamas Bowl 49–48 over Central Michigan. Quarterback Brandon Doughty led FBS in passing yards with 4,830. He also threw for 49 Touchdowns and was named 2014 Conference USA Most Valuable Player.
"Brohm led WKU to an eleven-win regular season in 2015, highlighted by an undefeated conference record, WKU's first appearance in the top 25, and a Conference USA championship (beating Southern Miss in the championship game). The Hilltoppers defeated South Florida, who was coached by former Hilltopper player and coach Willie Taggart, in the Miami Beach Bowl 45-35, ending the season with a 12-2 record and ranked 24th in the nation."
2016 - 2-2 lost to Alabama (10-38) and Vanderbilt (31-30, beat Rice 46-14).

Wasn't he Brian's brother from Louisville?

Issue at LSU is mostly offense and some discipline, focus, coaching issues. However, a good DC and solid recruiting should make a guy like this attractive. You would WANT him to be involved on the offensive side. Small schools focus on one side of ball often with less than stellar DC coaches.
This guy is pretty interesting, 46 years old, played both professional football (QB) and professional baseball.

Probably next Louisville coach, so staying at WKU seems logical, besides Houchens has cash to keep him.

Could be a UK candidate in the future? More I look at him the more there is to like from youth to presence, to knowledge. This is a coach worth watching in my opinion, which is an excellent opinion to heed, in my opinion.

I gotta laugh at ppl who blame the defense for a small school coach. So you really believe

Ect dont care about defense? No they just dont have the talent.
Offense you can create advantages with dbl teams, traps and misdirection.ect
Defense is more talent related. If you dont believe that then explain to me how a 3 star DB can cover a 5 star WR. Coach him up all you want, ill put my $$ on the WR
