Jay Rodgers fired LA Chargers Dline coach

Jay Rodgers started his coaching career at LSU being an offensive GA and then switching to a defensive GA the next year. After a few offensive jobs from 2003-2008 he went to the NFL. 2012-2020 was a Dline coach for Broncos and Bears. Was currently Dline coach and run game coordinator for the LA Chargers.
His head coach Staley and GM got fired and soon after, Rodgers was let go as well. I know Florida hired an assistant Chargers DBs coach for their DB spot. May be someone to potentially look out for. I hope not because I want LSU to go out and get college proven Dline coach. I think he sticks around the NFL.

Just throwing out a name that some may know on here, albeit, he was just a graduate assistant for 2 years (2001,2002).

No thanks. Had one of the best DL’s in the AFC and couldn’t do shite with them.

Not saying I want this guy but that’s not entirely true. They are number 2 in the league in sacks currently and are middle of the road for defending the run with a pretty bad LB core behind that Dline
Chargers meanwhile are 29th in passing yards given up and I think 25th in points allowed despite the dline creating so many pressures and negative plays. Their issues the last few years have all been tied to the back end of their defense. This is with Joey bosa being out for the past month due to his injury
