0Sources: Former UNC DC Jay Bateman is headed to Florida as the inside linebackers coach. He’s the former DC at Army and Ball State.
Online did the weird defense he was running at army not translate in the ACC? I remember being intrigued by what he was doing, but it seemed specific to academy ball and the type of players they can get and also that they control clock every game. Im not even sure he had same scheme at UNC.

Think they still need an assistant associate outside linebackers coach (for 3rd downs with short yardage), Co-trick play coordinator (offense), and an associate water person (2nd half timeouts).

It was said Napier doesn’t want one guy watching 5 players, kinda like how most teams have gone to Corners coaches n Safeties coaches instead of a single DB Coach
I’m down for whatever works, since ULL has done so well on their OL lately I’m willing to see it play out.

Darlington was extremely well-regarded by the OU staff as a rising star in the business and has helped coach QBs.
