The Jacksonville Jaguars fired running-backs coach Tyrone Wheatley and three more assistants Monday night, according to a person familiar with the situation. The person spoke to The Associated Press on the condition of anonymity and said offensive line coach Pat Flaherty, secondary coach Perry Fewell and defensive line coach Marion Hobby also were let go the day after the season finale.

I know Perry Fewell and Flaherty are longtime Coughlin assistants.

Coughlin is a terrible coach and eli carried him to a couple of SB to extend his coaching career

Coughlin is the main problem there but i think these guys needed to go as well. trouble is, Coughlin is still there and will make equally as bad hires to replace them.

that team will stay in mediocrity forever

Yeah, he only took the expansion Jaguars to the AFC championship game in their 2nd year. Then won 2 SBs. But he's a bad coach.

You know absolutely nothing obviously.
Tom Coughlin is a hard nosed coach, and a damn good one.

Coughlin made Tiki Barber's whiny arse quit football, so he gets a lifetime pass. Coughlin is the man!

Eli threw a wounded duck up for grabs for a miracle catch in one of those SB. Coughlin built those teams.
