I hope Michigan had some feelers out before up and firing their coach. I want Michigan to be relevant again, if nothing else just to kick the shite out of OSU and Meyer.

They should take a look at Mike MacIntyre at CU

The Michigan muckity-mucks have too much sense than to hire Miles. The current state of LSU football is a peek into Michigan's future should they desire to snag Miles (and Miles accept). Just a hunch but Michigan doesn't aspire to be just mediocre.

Possibly the dumbest thing I have read in my adult life. The current state of LSU football is pretty damn strong despite a 4-loss season with a young team.
1. Miles is a national championship coach, 3 years removed from playing for another.
2. Miles has a winning percentage (in the SEC no less) that is unmatched by any Big 10 coach in recent memory other than Urban Meyer.
3. Miles is a Michigan man.
4. Miles can outrecruit anybody.
5. Miles is a thorn in Urban Meyer's side, which will thrill Michigan fans and annoy Urban greatly.

If Miles stays , he stays, if he goes , he goes, but please someone on here tell me on this board that our Dumbass AD and our Dumbass Board of Trustees are not stupid enough to give him another raise and make the buy out even higher since the rollover for another 7 years is automatic anyway or at least that is what I have been lead to believe . Please no more money for a coach that has become mediocre and has us finishing in the bottom 3 of the SEC West.

Wisky, Mich St, Neb, OSU, even Mich all have talent, just not SEC talent across the board. Miles could dominate Big 10 easily.

Smells like BS, but captivating nonetheless:

quote:How'd we do last year when we didn't have a young team and still had the players the sunshine pumpers endlessly sight as their Excuse du Jour? And since Miles is an all-world recruiter, where the heck is our QB? Didn't he see that coming? And the clincher: 4 losses = strong team. Where are we ranked in the CFB Playoff Rankings? Just doesn't add up.
